I think I've got one laying around. If I remember correctly someone welded the turbo coolant feed closed on it though.
I bought a new one because who knows what Mitsu will discontinu next.
I saw this one on eBay but after 19 years my car still has the stock 03 turbo and heat
Imagine driving the slowest of the oldest UDSM EVOs

What you're saying is we need a billet version of it....
Haha, this is exactly why you just cant make things with options. Everyone wants something different and has opinions on whats best. On the manufacturing side, its a disaster trying to have multiple flavors.
a little update - i was at ncm on sun and the car pushed - a LOT. it felt ok when cold but got very pushy pretty much the rest of the day, and a buddy of mine in a very similar evo said he felt the same. NCM has some really tight turns that the Evo/I struggled in. I swapped the rear sway bar to the middle setting for the afternoon and that helped with the turn-in. The car also felt kind of off in the afternoon and started making a clunk on startup (I have the clutch thing pulled so no clutch to start).
as I started making my way home in the Evo (sequoia was still in the shop for timing chain tensioners at this point) this happened (driver's rear):
which effectively stranded me in KY at 5pm on Easter Sunday, lol. I had checked it prior to leaving the site because I refilled all the tires to normal pressures but along the way suddenly heard a flapping noise as I was driving.
Luckily my buddy was there in his Evo and swapped wheels with me so I could drive home. Upon inspection, it turns out I had an EGR line pop off resulting in a boost leak and the rear trans mount was loosening causing the clunk. The tires were toast so I'll be sticker fresh for the event with Gridlife at NCM. The car also had a large amount of toe in on that side in the rear (5/16s) so that has also been handled. We'll see if the car feels any better in a couple weeks.
not sure what that means.
between driving the car up and down and the event itself i got lucky. someone offered me their spare e85 but i passed because i wanted to get home. can't imagine if this happened out on track
The tread is ...gone lol. He literally wore them out. I was thinking the same or the fender cutting/rubbing until I looked for the Falken tread patterns lol. THIS is why you use dedicated track wheels/tires loaded in the back seat!

Did yours eventually turn blue? Mine did. Thinking mine aren't far behind yours.
