Chris Barnett on FB is constantly parting out wrecked Evo's. If by trustworthy you mean you want a diff that is known good, IDK if that'd be the best route, but tis worth asking him. He gave me an awesome deal on all my mivec conversion parts.

Might have a set of rear axles coming off of my Evo 9 here pretty soon. I'll also have a spare rear diff that I can part ways with too. I assume I'd have to ship to NZ?

I'll have spares of the following:
-Evo 9 transfer case
-Evo 9 MR transmission
-Evo 9 rear differential
-Evo 9 front and rear axles
-BNIB JDM 8 MR HID headlights

Reason for sale? I found out my beloved Evo 9 has a beyond salvageable frame after paying good money to have it "repaired" and I sent out all the parts while it was getting repaired to get built by ShepTrans. This week i'll be buying another running Evo 9 MR, but i'll be pulling all the parts listed above as everything I had sent out is now upgraded by ShepTrans and having it swapped out.

That sounds terrible. What's the story with the frame damage?

Damn thats horrible is there any comeback from the place that did the work?

Yea id love the axles if your willing to part with them yea i would need them shipped to nz which can be a pain happy to cover the costs etc. dallas has shipped me some suspension struts before and it was a lil expensive but seemed easy enough to do.

I rear ended a minivan in 2013, car sat until the end of 2018, so I took it to a body shop to get the frame fixed finally. Car sat at the body shop for 4-6 months until they got to it, and I supplied all the parts, they strictly had to do body work. While the body shop had the car, I sent out the motor, trans, and t-case to get built. Once the body/frame work was done, I towed the car to a local evo shop for them to install all the new bits, and they had a hard time getting the motor to fit. So I figured I’d have the car taken to another body shop to get a second opinion on what was done and was told that frame was sectioned and wasn’t even welded all the way around, so I’m considering taking them to court for the ~$5,000 I paid them to do the body/frame work. Mind you I supplied them with a brand new OEM core support and frame rail from the dealer.

Well, you might be in luck if you’re not in a huge rush because I was thinking of taking a vacation to NZ and Australia this year. If I decide to go elsewhere I suppose I can ship, Ive shipped a rear diff to Greece before lol

I did at the time, which was end of 2018/beginning of 2019. I have no clue if you can now.
