So i must be getting old or something but the time has possibly come to purchase something different!

Is it concerns with keeping turbo race-car reliable? Or?

Next step - is Porsche Cup Car - factory race-car. It will be more expensive to maintain but more predictable. Maybe similar laptimes?

Or something simpler but faster through turns, like Radical SR3?

 

pretty much concerns and effort keeping it running yes. I do a race weekend and by the end of it im exhausted from maintenance and repairs and then i need to drive ontop of that. Random issues and failures which pop up also which just destroy enjoyment.

porsche was 1 option but the repair and maintenance costs concern me. Radical would be amazing but we dont have many sports cars here so nowhere to race it.

currently im looking at something like a hot rodded TA2 car or the NZ version of a V8 supercar
