At this point in the Evo life cycle CNC porting is probably to cost prohibitive for most people. But I have some silly ideas of things I could do with the stock manifold. I'm trying to get a cheap used stocker to scan cause I want to machine -1mm on the outer rough surface and cut all the bosses off that aren't used with modded cars. The "why" is because I can and it'll shave tiny bits of weight. Plus it helps to add some more WTF factor to my car.
Along that path, I want to see how deep I can reach into the runners to just create a nice even path. Need some shrink fit tools to really get deep though. This is also cause I need to practice a bit for another project Im working on for a friend with air-cooled 911 heads.

i'll donate a stock IM if i can get it back when youre done
You can have my old stock one. Although I did so some light runner work on it so not sure if that'd be an issue.
FYI the earlier evo IMs come with much less of the unused stuff, no EGR either. I picked up this Evo 4 one from the UK for under $100 shipped. I believe either the 5 or 6 added the MAP sensor directly to the plenum like we have. There are a few versions and it's hard to figure out which versions came on which cars but if you go on UK ebay they're all there for pretty cheap.

Tim Radley who did the manifold earlier in this thread I think does a load of air cooled 911 heads, if you don't already follow him on Instagram - racedevelopments
