Couldn’t find one so I ordered a ported skunk from stm to get by. Still on the lookout so please keep me in mind if you run across one.

Yeah. I'd never sell his stuff. It'll get hung on a wall. For display.

As of last winter I had a brand new head that was still in an unopened packaged from Curt. When we built the latest car I contemplated even opening it for several weeks vs just sending off another one to get ported. Finally opened it and put it on the car and it was a little emotional.

I sold that car to a good buddy so I could rebuild the blue Hillcimb car and the CB mani and head were the hardest things to let go of :/

Aside from the sentimental value, is there anything particularly special with his intake manifold?

It has a smiley face on the inside of the core plug on the end. Extremely special.

Consistently proven results.

we made 636whp on a mustang dyno on a CB ported stock intake. Very impressive imo.

oh and the smiley face

Not sure if the CB Mani is the one where a window is cut so they can get extreme porting done, but the Boostin Performance intake manifold port job is also quite good. Cant argue with their results either.

Everything needs a smiley face.

I have one with the adapter plate welded on for a bigger throttle body. I'm not ready to sell it just yet though.

Has anyone considered reverse engineering or modelling the port work to see what features make it work?

Would likely need a Faro arm probe to model it. My laser scanner would only get a couple inches deep.
