Rally friend of mine told me that Mitsubishi is changing to a new rallly team next year. He told me it is a done deal . Some company called Vermont Sports Car will be Mitsubishi Rally team. He knows a lot of rally guys and seems to always have the gossip right. Anyone know about it? No more RMR? Who is the driver or drivers then?

 

They are not sure on the drivers...i guess we'll find out in January. But they have been talking to David Higgins and Lauglin O'Sullivan and someone else that I can't remember

Heard Vermont had something to do with Mitsubishi next year also some British team. Not sure if that meant drivers or not. Still unclear who will be at the wheel for Mitsubishi.

Hell, I'm in if they want another driver!

 

A company in Europe is heading up the program along with Ralliart. Ralliart will be coming to the US soon and they wanted a piece of the rally action. Vermont Sports cars will be doing the event services and some of the day to day prep. Nothing is final yet, but it should be soon. We wish them the best of luck.

 

When is Ralliart coming?

Are they coming with the US Evolution in 2003? Will there be an announcement at the LA or Detroit Auto Show?

 

They are coming out with a clothing line to be sold at the dealers first, eventually they will start selling parts. I'm not sure what they are planning on bring in, but knowing them I wouldn't plan on building a car using only ralliart US parts. I doubt they will bring in much "good" stuff.
