That's a great price for an RS!
If i came in with cash is that the price i'd pay for the car or is that a price that only certain people will qualify for?
I went to Medina Mitsubishi here in Ohio with the SouthCoast prices and the guys there tried to tell me that it was just a ploy to get people to come in. He claims that the SC price would have included mililtary, recent grad, and some other affiliate discount and that there's no way that i would get that price unless i qualified for all of them.
i understand that there'd be tax and other fees on top of that, but that seems like a ridiculously awesome price for a car stickered w/ a $29k price.
I'll be looking to purchase in about a month and i'd love to get a price like that. I'd like to trade in my current car and seeing as how you're in CA that would make things pretty difficult.

My buddy bought his last April 06' for $28,000 at SC, then added the $500 recent grad and paid exactly $27,499 plus tax for his GSR.
how low can you go on finance 1.5%?

Not true at all. The SC price is exactly what you pay and includes all fees, (except tax). And it does not include any rebates. If one happened to qualify for all the rebates then the price would drop correspondingly.

Check out this Texas dealer (Don Herring Mitsubishi). I saw them on eBay selling a IX SE for only $89 more than the CA dealers. They're in Plano. Maybe they have an RS with great pricing too.
