The first post states that the op can not make it. I think this sounds cool and would like to go to a drive in with other evos/tuner cars. Lets keep it going.

Just throwing it out there for a plan B.....

Highland Village Shopping center in Highland Village has a very nice theater, it is brand new and projects DLP etc. The shopping center is new as well, and has some nice photo opportunities as well, the area is nice, and they have those police towers in place, although it is a safe place any way.

I haven't started looking into anything, but I can and will if we want to do something....

I did check the theater (see website) for group info:
http://www.amctheatres.com/meetingan...uprequest.html
and the place:
http://www.theshopsathighlandvillage.com/

I know there are other places like this all over the metroplex, but this one is close to me and both joshes hahaha so if Im going to work on the planning... I choosing the close one

Just throwing it out there....... The drive in thing would be super cool as well....

no phone #s to call galaxy. but we could still do this. first show starts at 8pm. if we will do this we should be there around 730-745pm so that we could get a good view. friday might be hard for some people. i vote we should do it sat. this way the people who will go to the dinosaur cruise could meet us up and go watch at galaxy. we could probably meet some where along the way. i would suggest kincaids but if we will not eat there i dont think its a good idea to meet at their parking lot. i don't know the areas so if someone could post a good place to meet feel free to do so.

I sent and email to The Shops at Highland village just to see if they are even interested in hosting us.

Im up for anything, but it seems this even is just in "lala" land and we need some direction. I dont want to get to far in to planning untill there are some commitments, but also, it will flop if we have too many people planning different events all over.

So who is all looking into this, and who wants to meet and see it?

Maybe we need a new thread about this....

I'm down for saturday evening after yall's Dino cruise if you all decide to do that. The drive-in thing sounds cool but I think that I would enjoy the movie more sitting down inside of a nice theater with stadium seating and surround sound. Plus, I'm black so YOU KNOW I'm going to be wanting to talk smack out loud through out the entire crappy movie calling out all of the BS while talking to my girl on my cell phone. I don't want to have to do all of that by myself inside of my car, that would be boring and annoying as hell

Saturday i think would be the best day. What about the movie tavern? The tavern has burgers, pizza, sandwiches, etc.. We can watch the movie and eat and drink..

Saturday sounds good and the Galaxy is a hour away so I think we should scrap that idea for now anyway. There is a brand new amc in the highlands and a movie tarvern close by.... I am waiting for some one to post their movie times for this weekend.
