The tail light challenge

So someone on this forum, I won't disclose who because that wouldn't be fun now would it since im gonna win, challenged me that i couldn't create the so called rarest of the rare tail lights for the evo.

The eudm tail lights on the evo are pretty unique and I won't lie I like them but have had no reason to recreate them until now. This person was willing to pay a gooood chunk of change if I could pull of the the conversion. On these guidelines

-no visible cut lines
-no leaks
-MUST HAVE THE THREE RED LIGHTS ON THE LEFT TAIL LIGHT UP ALONG WITH THE 2 ON THE RIGHT
-must only! have the one reverse light on the right

needless to say these tail lights are going down!

and for those who don't know these are the tail lights 3 reds on the left 2 on the right. Brakes light up 5* and the reverse only the 1 right clear light.

ill keep this updated so "mr X" can see how his lights are doing.

In Europe, they are only required to have one reverse light. It is pretty wierd and doesn't make much sense. But it is pretty cool, regardless. I bet "Mr X" is going to get questioned about it all the time. Good luck passing inspection (if they check that?).

I will have to look into it as far as modifying the reverse lights. I know there isn't a law that requires 2 reverse lights. IE the G-Wagon only has one on the right side. However if your car came equiped with 2 lights I dont know if you can remove one. I will try to look up the law if/when I do another st. insp. The red reverse light should be the rear fog light on that car. That is not an item of inspection. Rear fog light is not required by the US DOT or Tx but it must be mounted on the driver side. Left for US.

Everytime I see a Mercedes, Audi, whatever driving around in the daytime with it on, I start cracking up. Stupid people.

Don't make the extra brake light light up (when braking of course). Try to hook it up to the fogs. That would be sweet.
