Sebastian will be there with the S4. I'm in final stages of preparation to drive to autocross Nationals this Friday, so I'll be under the car. I should get almost everything done by tomorrow evening and can then wait for the new set of slicks to arrive Tuesday (they were manufactured at Hoosier last Tuesday so they'll certainly be fresh!).
Have fun this morning.

Maybe not so much for a national-level trophy winner in a purpose-built car. But it can even be exciting even for an unskilled driver too -- as spinning off course and plowing through walls of cones can be quite a thrill for sure.

Interesting how we can all have different perspectives. I think I would enjoy running on a road course, but after a few 20-30 minute sessions on the same track I'd be bored. Running the same circuit over and over and over doesn't present the same challenge for me as autocross, once you learn how to get it right. Given that autocross provides very little seat time, but you have the satisfaction of improving (hopefully) as you make your 3-4 runs. Then next event you have a different course to prove yourself on. In autocross, you know you must concentrate and get good fast where road race can be more forgiving of not having the exact correct line. I think this is the reason that most good autocrossers make good road racers, but the reverse is not often true.
