I might not be able to drive for a while because I broke it...

My foot that is.. right foot to be exact.

Just thought I'd share the gruesomeness with you all. I thought I was (almost) indestructible then something lame like this happens. Then reality shows you it doesn't take much before unable to even stand on your own two feet.

Look carefully, you can see all the brokenness. Outch!

My foot is big and swollen and purple in the area of the break. I can't put any bit of pressure on it. No standing and unfortunately, no driving.

Ouch! Hope it gets better soon.

Did you trip over a cone?

Thanks. No tripping over cones involved. I usually either just run over those or miss them by 4 feet (when I should be 1 inch away).

In this case, I was running down the stairs (not the best idea) when I got near the bottom I kinda lost balance a bit and jumped down the last two steps and landed on the outside edge of my foot - which was not the right way to land.

At the moment I landed, my foot moved in a way unlike ever before and I clearly heard (and felt) a loud pop in my foot - like the sound of a knee or knuckle popping.

I dropped right to the floor and couldn't get back up because even the least bit of pressure on my foot was unbearable. So I had to crawl my way around or hop on one foot until I could get some crutches today.

So that's how my weekend ended. Anyone else have fun??

Tell me about it.

I guess my next order of business is to find a foot bone specialist who can fix this shizzle so I can get back to normizzle. This hobbling around stuff is old already.

Eh... suck it up! I played 30mins of soccer with my foot broken in three places, and I tried to play the next day HAHAHAHA.... true story but I was a lot younger and dumber then.... :-)

I know the pain man, it sucked when I broke mine it sucked, it healed pretty fast... did they give you a boot? I had a boot for when I went out and a special hard bottom shoe I could wear at the house and in the shower....

Are you sure you didn't do it in your last autocross, trying to push for more power?

I sent you a txt.

Go see Dr. McNutt at Centennial there in Frisco. I've broken both feet a number of times (rock climbing = dumb -- well that at getting run over by a semi on a motorcycle makes for fragile feet).

I've got crutches and a boot too if you need to borrow them.

Hope you feel better. Broken feet SUCK.
