so you've bought them already? And now you're asking what people think?

What's the purpose? Just a drop or for better performance? And which model did you buy?

I have never heard of NEX coilovers before. Let us know what you think once you get them on.

If you find that the car exhibits a lot of understeer with these, you might consider switching the front and rear springs so that the 8s were in the rear and the 6s were in the front. Just a thought.

They are in the low priced chinese type coilover systems that most people look down on.

If they are what you want, then they'll be fine

might wanna look up the suspension part of the forum about the evo's rear multi link suspension, usually the back is 2-3 kg higher than the front.

unless you enjoy having a totally useless evo, a 3.5" drop would be totally undrivable around here. roads are way to rough, the drainage paths at intersections cause very steep inclines, and nearly every parking lot has a hill you have to drive up i had mine slammed for about a day (when i first bought them from ethan, didn't realize how low he had it), and was bottoming out driving on a straight flat road, that had a slight curvature to it (right side of the road was sinking a little). i almost though i was going to get high centered and get stuck my suggestion is start at the 1.5" drop. if you don't have clearance issues, then work your way down to where you like it.

if u wanna big drop, get air bags! sure their heavy, and probably suck for performance, but you can raise it when you see a dip, and lower it when you park!

The previous owner put cheap coilovers (posji-tech)on my car.

Don't go too low. or else you will end up like this.
It is a nightmare to try and make it over a speed bump!

That drop looks ghetto. I don't understand why people like the "slammed" look. There's no possible way you'll get around here in the DFW area without damaging your undercarriage. Let alone how ****ty the car must handle.

Yes. It looks ghetto and the ride is absolutely ridiculous. I just haven't had time off work to adjust it. BOOOOOO!
