They are cheap coilovers that are garbage.

-The valving is going to be all over the place
-You'll be lucky if the shocks don't leak within a year
-The spring rates aren't well suited to an Evo
-The spring rates aren't going to be accurate to the advertised rate
-The bearings in the top plates are low quality
-The painted surfaces will chip and flake very easily(not durable)
-The metal used is low grade

But they are $1,000 so maybe you're not expecting much from them. If you want an upgrade, save your money and buy a quality product that has features you can use... and use for years to come.

If you just want to lower the ride height, save your money and buy some Eibachs, H&Rs, insert name of good spring company here

Sorry Evo-Mike.

In addition to posting the pictures I also meant to add this.

The coil overs I have aren't that bad (they lower the vehicle and tighten up the suspension). They are a cheap brand called Posji Tech and they are a knock off of others.

The photos of my car are AFTER I raised it up. this is on their "medium low" setting.

They are hard to adjust properly. (harder than the Tein coil overs I had on my rx7)

They are a lower quality metal.

as low_psi said, the finish on mine is flaking in a few spots.

Good luck with your purchase.

Equipe Rapide - $25 for non-members plus $10 for 2 optional PAX runs

November 7 - Challenge Cup #9 - Mineral Wells Airpark
November 8 - Challenge Cup #10 - Mineral Wells Airpark

SCCA - $40.00 for non-members

October 25 - Solo Event #8 - Mineral Wells Airpark
November 15 - Solo Event #9 - Texas Motor Speedway Bus Lot

It's a lot of fun and not too pricey. Here's a video of me doing a run at the TMS earlier this year http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCypLVl6P90

There's also the NTAXS one next Saturday at Mineral Wells. Combining drag + top gear

Cheap and you'll get 8 runs.

I likely won't make it (oSu Homecoming and I think Amy wants to take Ethan).

That sounds like a lot of fun. The question is, can I do 8 launches on my stock clutch and still drive all the way home from Mineral wells?
