This game is AWESOME!!! i rented it for xbox and am amazed... ofcouse, once i reached teir 2 i bought an evo9. the amount of detail is awesome! the cf dash, radio, steering wheel, seats etc. exactly like a real 9... even the transmission is geared the same way! crazy fast first, non existent 2nd etc.. and the racing is sweet. the sound of the turbo/wastegate is extreamly realistic too.. EVEN A VOLTEX WIDEBODY! i feel like the cyber evo. kevin would have fun with this, im pretty sure you can even adjust A/F ratios, (i think i remember seeing that, just didnt know how to do it so i set it to default)

the bad: the cars are super customizable, you buy stage 1 turbo, stage 2, and so on. i play forza 2 alot also, there is no motor swaps and stuff like forza, and i liked creating my own "liverys" and stuff, you cant do that much on nfs:s, and you cant repaint your wheels. it also takes as long too load as the race lasts.

someone should rent/buy it so they can try to keep up with my GTR

I almost bought that game last week but decided to get a couple of music CD's and Call of Duty Modern Warefare (I know it's old but I love this game) instead. I'm going to add it to my list though because it appears to have potential.

 

I thought about buying the game as well. But I can't pull myself away from Halo 3. Did you play it with the xbox steering wheel, or did you just use the controller?

Did you play at all with the Evo X?

 

It's good to hear that NFS:S is good because their past two titles (underground and whatever that non-street racing one was) fell flat. The commercials look awesome and I can't wait to hop out and rent it myself.

Blownincome, Modern warfare IS an awesome game, I've been thinking of re-buying my copy too. But I think i'll wait until Modern Warfare 2 is out. It releases the end of november I think

i thought about buying NFS:S for PS3, but im already playing the hell out of NHL 10, MW2 is coming out, and at some point GT5. when GT5 comes out i dont see myself doing much of any thing else.

I have played the new ODST just in MLG and online multiplayer, but not the campaign. I will stick with Halo 3 until Halo 4 comes out.

 

I'm always up for a good game of MLG on Halo 3, my gamertag is in my sig. I normally play at night and various times during the day on Saturday and Sunday.

 

i just have PS3...it does everything...

 

i also love the game, i wish it had the works upgrade for the evo though

Plus, xbox is the supreme online multiplayer console. It trumps PS3 any day of the week.

Yes the PS3 online is free, yes the xbox guys pay 50 bucks a year to play online, but PS3 online is years behind the xbox.

Of course, this is all IMO!
