ok guys, as some of you may know, i left my phone in a car last weekend (saturday the 10th). he shipped the phone back to me but it never made it. because it was shipped USPS and no tracking number was used, its either 1)lost or 2)stolen somewhere between him dropping it off and it getting delivered.

so, i have been without a phone for about a week now, and finally decided no more waiting and got a new one. i got all the voice mails left over the week, but once i started syncing the new phone, all the text messages i missed were downloaded and then immediately erased once it started restoring to the previous backup.

SO! if you have tried calling me or texting me between the 10th of october and today and haven't received a message that is why. PLEASE send your texts again if it is important!! i know i saw one that looked pretty important before it wiped the recent text messages, but there were no contact numbers so i didn't know who it was.

USPS!!!! WTF. Why would you ship a PHONE without insurance or tracking? You were paying for the shipping, so why didn't he go to Kinkos (Fedex) or Staples (UPS) and get it shipped correctly?

He owes you a new phone frankly.

Well Kevin, I talked to Tony about tuning my car when I get it and he said he doesn't feel comfortable tuning the stock ecu since he's not famaliar with it. So looks like your gunna be tuning my car everytime since I can't justify spending $2,000 on a standalone when these stock ecu's are putting down 700whp.

 

If that happens let me know. I may be looking to buy one.

 

wuhu! my old phone finally arrived! it took like 6 business days to go 3 hours away.

 

Yep - I had a feeling that would happen. It took me like 10 days to get some books I ordered through the mail. That's why they call it "snail mail".

What a bummer. You can overnight a 2lb package with $300 insurance half way across Texas for around $28.00 through FedEx. or even second day for around $15.00.

and the odd thing is i ordered some seals for injectors friday, it was shipped USPS priority and got it monday. that was from florida!

 

Yes USPS priority isn't bad. Anything is better than 3rd class. But if you think that's bad, try parcel post. You'd better mail your Christmas gifts now if you're going that route. Hah.

On a side story, I once had a Christmas card that was sent to me get lost in the mail. It finally got delivered about 6 months after it was sent. I kid you not.
