2010 NTEC Calendar
Update #2 for 12/7: Ok, here is the "final" calendar: http://www.artscow.com/share/bwbfd24c0f5o I know it's kinda hard to see which pictures are attached to which month, but it's the best I could do to show everyone.
Looks like they will be about $8.00, but I want to order them tomorrow! (So we don't lose the discount and they ship in time.) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE update the poll and/or post below if you want to order one (or more than one). As it stands, I plan on ordering 35 calendars.
Update 12/7: I'm going to be ordering the calendars in the next day or so (we should have them by the Holiday Party), so if you haven't already, please vote in the poll. If you voted that you wanted more then 1, I'm assuming you only want 2. If you plan on buying several, please let me know so I have enough for everyone. It looks like the calendars will cost between $10 and $13... (Trying to figure out my quote as I type). Please let me know if you have any questions.
Update 11/17: I wanted to give an update on the calendar. I looks like they will cost under $10 a piece (probably closer to $8), but until I know how many we are going to order, I can't give a final price... The more we order, the cheaper they will be.
Here is an idea of what I'm thinking for the calendar. http://picasaweb.google.com/mjanestone/NTECSampleCalendar?authkey=Gv1sRgCMHJj76-hqGWzwE# This is just a sample that I threw together in 10 minutes with very poor resolution pictures. I just wanted to have something to show at the meet, so I reserve the right to switch out every picture in here. Obviously it will be formated better and have high resolution pictures.
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions. I would still like to get these printed by the Christmas party, so please vote in the poll so I know how many to order.
Update 11/5: If you send pictures that someone else/a professional took, please be sure to get their permission to reproduce the images. If you don't tell me you have permission, I'll send you harassing e-mails until you let me know!
At last month's Evo meet, Sean mentioned doing a 2010 calendar with shots of everyone's car... Well, it's already November and I haven't gotten any pictures of cars yet (and no, Denver hasn't received any either).
If you guys are interested in doing the calendar, I need you to send me about 2 pictures each that you would like considered for the calendar. When you send the picture, please send a high resolution version and include:
- Who owns the car
- VIII, IX, or X
- Color
- If the picture was taken at an event, what event?
You can e-mail pictures to me at m.jane@alumni.tcu.edu. Just because you send me a picture does not guarantee it will make it in the calendar. I know this is aggressive, but the due date for pictures is November 15th (so hopefully we can have the calendar in time for the Christmas party on December 15th). Thanks!!
P.S. This is Melissa, Denver's wife.

Thank you to everyone who sent pictures last night! (Even though you don't follow directions well
). I'm going to go through the pics tonight.
Reminder to everyone else, pictures are due by the 15th! I might try to have something together by Tuesday night's meet (just a quick mock up), but I make no promises.
