Tires

Ok as you all know I am a cheap ***. So I needed tires for my new wheels I am getting a set of 245/45/17 Diamiond Back tires. I am getting them for 275 shipped to me. I have read up on these and have heard mixed reviews. Do you guys have anything to add. They will be on the car only till after the holidays. Let me know thanks.

Spend little more on tires, tires are one of important for your safety. ( But doesn't mean expensive tires are always works very well. Go thru tirerack's review there is many brand tires are decent price and has good reviews as well.)
Have you look on Sumitomo HTR ZIII? I had them on my Z, i really liked them. But mine was 275 in rear. Previous version wasn't that great ( bad reviews, but HTR ZIII has pretty decent reviews. Also my parent and fiance running kumho Ecsta on their car, pretty decent as well.

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...er=17&x=93&y=8 You can probably make a deal at local tires store. Sears has sumitomo/kumho and discount tires has kumho tires.

We get the sumitomos pretty cheap through our guy.

Mike, you're cheaping out on the wrong things Safety for you and your family are the most important thing. Cheap tires are a waste of money and are SUPER unsafe. They are the only thing that's between you and the road.

I know I need go tires but these tires arent that bad. They are well known in the classic car sence. I have read 4 bad reviews and 23 good ones. Like I said I am only running them till after the holidays. And that's sean for looking out jackie and the baby arent going to be riding in the evo. Do to her being due in 3 weeks. So I dont think they are that bad the rating is 400 /AA/ A/ Y that ia not bad at all. thank you everybody for your input.

I used to be the KING of cheap tires.... I would buy like the CRAP tires, 4 for $100 futuras for Pepboys etc. Then realized that I was spending more buying cheap tires than if I upgraded to like a mid range tire. The cheap crap just didnt last at all! (This was on my lancer, the EVO gets the good stuff)
