next mod..

okay..well i told myself i'd use half my tax return on the car and the other half in savings..so lemme ask you guys what you think should be next

1. Wheels professionally powdercoated and upperintercooler piping, maybe downpipe as well
2. E85 Conversion and tune
3. Intercooler piping and new AMS Intercooler

i honestly not sure which one i wanna do, i know the e85 will be the best bang for the buck..but the wheels are chippng and i'd really like to get em powdercoated, but also want some performance mods to satisfy me for a while..then also the intercooler and piping would really help me out as well.

#3, but substitute the AMS stuff for Nisei piping and an ETS or Perrin intercooler.

for the $400 it'll cost to powdercoat the wheels I'd just buy new ones (or new to you, there's a set of boosts on DI, white though, in 18x10).

You're going to need retuned with just about anything you do, but I think the UICP is just about the best bang for the buck mod out there.

How about good brake pads and a track day or three

i got new pads sunday

i can get the rims powdercoated for 280 for the set..which really isnt bad at all. i like the wheels just the paint is crappy and coming off.

im thinking e85..but theres no stations around here except near where i work..i go into the office 1-2 times a week so i can fill up then but otherwise im SOL.

the intercooler and piping ive been wanting to do for a while..and yeah i'd probably go with UR UICP and perrin fmic

Honestly I regret my mod path. I should have just bought a turbo fuel pump and injectors and not fcked with the bs stuff. Or just done suspension wheels and a turbo back. I'm on my third of everything. suspension wheels cams exhaust but only my second intercooler and second upper.

whats so cool about your tail lights? haha

i regret doing so much to my car, id rather have my car like mackies.. but i also enjoy alot of power (even tho i just lost alot :'( ) i spent a ton of money making it fast, and my car looks like every other evo, crappy suspension. handles like poopoo... but it goes straight fast.

i will warn you, power is addicting. you add a little.. then a little more, then more. next thing you know youve built a race car unintentionally.

I'm a newbie here so my $.02 is probably worth less than that but if it were me, I'd go with #2 or #3.
