So... we never had this much snow here

until a certain Minnesotan brought it with him!!!

This is simply amazing. I've been here 12 years and have never seen this much.

What a stupid year to move! We were going to get some summer tires for the WRX too but after all the snow we've seen this winter I'm beginning to second guess that idea and just get a set of ultra high-performance all-seasons for it.

^^ As you can tell it will only last a day or so! Summer tires will get more use for sure. OOOh and way to go brining all the snow with you haha.

Very rare indeed, we are actually close to a record for snowfall this winter..

I drove on the NT05s all day when it snowed 12" a few weeks ago, and I had no issues with traction. I do think however that the type of winter precipitation that we normally get (ice storms), the tires would have been slick.

I think we are over it over it now at dfw but for sure in plano we have 6in at our house which brings our total over a foot.

Close indeed, I believe we needed 0.9" or 0.95" before yesterday to set a record.

edit: 6"? We only got an inch or so on the south side, sounds like one for the books.

I was up in Frisco earlier today and that area seemed to get hit a lot harder than The Colony did! We saw a few cars and even an SUV stuck in the snow drifts. A lifted Jeep was going around with tow straps and probably making a few bucks though
