I'm a snake fan so I knew what that was as soon as I saw it. Yes its a hognose snake also sometimes called a puff adder because they puff up and flair their neck like a cobra. Very cool snake.
Its called a hognose because if you look closely at its nose it is actually turned up so it looks slightly like a pig's nose.
They are completely harmless and fun to play with. They also hiss when they puff up.

Hognose snakes are VERY different from puff adders, which are unbelievably venomous snakes that our poor brothers in SE Asia get to deal with.. No purpose to killing hognoses, unless you prefer rats and other vermin to snakes.
That's not a snake. It's Chuck Noris using The Force to make you think he's a snake, a technique he learned from Bruce Lee.
That's pretty kewl to be able to use The Force to work on a camera too. You should not mess with that dude.

Yeah they do hiss a lot, I used to be around them at work a lot when I worked at the science spectrum at school. Hognose are also notorious for playing dead and just flipping over on the bellies if they feel threatened. Completely harmless other than a fang mark if it tagged you. Unrelated but I've been fishing 2-3 snakes a week out of my pool lately...sneaky little bastards..
