93 octane
There is only one in Lawton, OK..
I did not see any gas station with 93 last time on the way to Dallas. but no worries now i should be able to get to Irving in one full tank.
So this club is for only North texas evo driver?
I wish I could join. Def. got to go see KevinD for a dual Map tune.

There is one on Preston or the Tollway, I believe Exxon or Shell that has only 92. But that is the only one I have seen that doesn't have 93.

we can tune the car with that gas in it for your 91oct tune, then we will drain the tank, and refill with 93 from a station right by the shop. then we can retune for 93 with higher boost and more timing

if you put 93 in the tank before you get down here, it will be a lot harder to get a good blend of 91 because we will have to mix 89 and 93 because there are no 91 stations that i know of in the imediate area.
hopefully that helps
Thanks KevinD. Will it be safe to come down with 91? with 93 tune I have?
I am looking forward to checking out the new shop..
Still doing Dyno tune? I really dont care for Dyno(dyno is just numbers IMO) as long as it runs smooth as silkand pull hard.
Thanks for the advice.

True story.
I have a tune on 93 (from Kevin) and I was up in Oklahoma one day and needed to fuel up and all I could get was 91. So I put it in and it ran fine all the way home.
The higher octane lets you run more boost and advanced timing. But if all you have is low octane, just drive it like a granny, stay out of boost and it should be fine.
Legal Disclaimer: this is only my experience with running 91 in my 93 tuned car and should you decide to do so I am in no way responsible for whatever happens.
