Also, what kind of post would this be if I didn't post my ride. So here are a few of pictures of mine (Blue X with the BBS wheels) and also ReggieSD's (Blue X with the gold Rota Grids). These are my 4 favorite pictures of everything I took.

 

it's like too many cars but you dont see many people cause it's hot. who won the show and shine.

Krisiun's car won the Show N Shine for the Evo class and took 2nd place overall. His is the Black Evo X with bronze IC pipes/Intake that match the bronze Volks wheels.


Yup, that is Reggie's car. He showed up at the end when things were practically over but he still came out.

 

Looks awesome! Anyone get a total count of the cars? Did Mitsu bring any prototypes to display?

I was curious about your car ACE pretty crazy how hard was the swap? did you do drivetrain as well?

 

I personally did not do the swap but it's as simple as taking off the SOHC and putting on the DOHC direct bolt up. Something things have to get re wired like the TPS and stuff. The drivetrain is a stock eclipse tranny and axels with an ACT clutch. I've been thinking about swapping in an Evo tranny but I cannot do the fabrication required on that type of project but maybe if I get lucky and want it bad enough maybe just maybe EvoDynamics might help me out in that department as I mentioned it to Kevin last night as we were trying to tune. Any other questions don't hesitate to pm me or ask KevinD as he's got it in his position or stop by EvoD and check it out I will be there for at least two more weeks

 

Thats pretty sweet how you running? what kind of power does it have? Its a stock RS eclipse block with a Evo head you say? Does that make it a 2.0 or 2.4? I cant remember what motors were in the 3G eclipses?

 

Right now it's running on an evo8 AEM EMS and running ok but it's gonna get it's wastegate fixed and boost over 30psi I think acording to Kevin and should be in the high 400's low 500's at the wheels with the set up it's got. It's using it's stock block 4g64 with built internals. Like I said its getting some work done by Kevin and should be done in a few shirt weeks and we will know what kind of power it's got and let u guys know since Kevin is a great guy I'm sure I'll post a review
