Cobb Tuning Plano
Look at this crap. I drove 62.7 miles each way in order to pick these up and now I have to deal with this.
Look at these holes, I would really expect more from a professional shop

Look at the dirt on this piece, and those staples don't look completely straight. Granted I haven't put a straight edge up to it yet, but I have a pretty good eye. How am I supposed to deal with this

Really, I mean come on really?

Finally the worst part. Apparently whom ever was drilling these holes wasn't too bright, Why 3 holes? must of had bad aim with the drill press and then they didn't even fix it before they powdercoated it. I haven't contacted Cobb yet, but I thought posting these up here first would warn others

I had to give Jose a hard time about his post on the coilovers. Once again Cobb came though, awesome pricing and customer service. I really hate driving out there though, seeing all the shiny parts makes my bank account lighter.
I think I will be hating life when I start on the front sway

Dude, you really should contact the mods and shop to try and get the situation solved before posting a negative review. Read the forum rules...newb.

Looks great though. So you got the front and rear? I did just a rear on my car and it was a tough choice between the Cobb or Whiteline.

Yep front and rear. I was leaning towards hotchkis, but decided to go with a higher spring rate on the coilovers and a smaller sway bar. It will be better on smooth race surfaces with a small sacrifice in smoothness on the street.

Yeah, I think if I strip the powdercoating and have it done in Neochrome with Ti bolts it will be better for SEMA. The only bad part is it is not sexy, it doesn't make the car faster in a straight line and you cant really see it
Warning! Warning! Will Robinson...a joke!!!
oh, i git it....tongue-in-cheek
it took me forever, but i stayed with it, thinking...
"this isn't the Krisiun I know!!!"
Yes, i like the usual tone on NTEC; a camaraderie that is missing on most sites

This front sway better be worth it, I just finished dropping the subframe and the cobb sway is in, now it is just time to bolt everything up. I tried to do it the way goofygrin recommended, but I wasnt able to fish it out by myself. The one good thing is Cobb's instructions are very through even including bolt sizes.

Well went for the first drive. All I can say is sways should be one of the first upgrades made to a X. It makes the car feel tighter, alot like my IX, with no effect to ride quality. The car stays super flat in the corners and just seems to grip. I have the front on full soft and the rear in the middle. Once again Cobb comes through with a quality product. Now all I need to do is have patience and wait for my coilovers to show up. Then it is off to have the whiteline kit installed, alignment and corner balancing.

I want to say 27mm in the Front and 25mm in the back. Hotckis is 32mm front and back. Going with a bigger bar isn't always the best choice. You need to decide what you are doing with spring rate as well as what kind of driving you will be doing. I went with Cobb because they are local in case I have a problem and I plan on running stiffer coilovers in the coming weeks. Also, the Cobb bars were less expensive which always helps. They will even match the color of your car lol.
I waited for FAR too long to install the sway bars. It should have been the first mod that I did. It completely changed the car for the better.
Sorry you couldn't just twist it out
Richard and I did it on the lift and maybe that made it easier... or the MR has more stuff in the way because of the SST?
