our shop is midway between the two

And that my friends is why DFW rules. Were you afraid of competition in the DFW area? Choosing a site because there wasnt anyone else around? Austin might be in a centralized location in relation to TX, but there is a reason why there are few shops. Your work looks great, shouldnt be afraid of other businesses in the area. But rather where your business would florish from a location that can support your product, not count on people coming from other areas to support you. Anyway congratulations on your expanding bussiness!

The decision was based on location, and we aren't relying on everyone to drive to us. Its so if they DO have to drive to us people from San Antonio don't have to drive to Dallas, people from Dallas don't have to drive to Houston, people in Houston don't have to drive to Dallas, So on and so forth depending on where we set up shop.

As far as competition goes we really didn't see anyone that competed DIRECTLY to our line of work. Not putting down other shops work, I'm saying for the work we specialize in there wasn't much shops that provide the same services. Besides Evolution Dynamics, the rest of the shops around specialized in Honda's, Subaru's, Audi's, VW's, and other makes in models.

To quote a Yelp reviewer (on Bone Daddy's):

This review really has nothing to do with food, and neither does this restaurant. This restaurant is all about selling T&A - and I'm buying!

I can't decide if this makes me want to go more or less...probably more

It's a pretty easy decision. You're attending and telling your gf that you're going to an Evo meet at a restaurant in Grapevine. No lies in what I wrote.
