Yeah, I do think the big wing looks impressive but Pirana is right, it will create some serious drag and it just looks like those screws are going to rip right out of the trunk at high speeds.

I do need to point something out concerning downforce -- There are 2 specific instances I know of where the lack of a wing caused loss of control due to reduced down force.

The first I heard of was when an evo owner, going for a speed record of some sort, removed the wing in an attempt to go faster and spun out at around 180 or so but got lucky and didn't hit anything.

the second, more recent, was on an STI during a time-attack event where the GT wing came off and when the driver lifted at 148 MPH to set up for a turn, the rear end spun around and he ate the wall.

Ive seen the top speed video one, apparently he either pop a chute or locked his brakes. But yes he removed the wing to reach a higher speed.

If you're only going for straight line speed/top speed then that voltex one would be limiting otherwise that voltex wing would be a huge advantage downforce wise at the track with the kind of power your car makes. It won't rip through the trunk and it won't break thats for sure.

I actually like this wing and have thought about purchasing one for my car and painting it solid black to go with the white and black theme I sort of have going on.
