I lucked out and had the past 2 days off given my job is 24/7...I was assigned classroom instructor training from Monday-wednesday which was considered admin duty instead of operations..and admin duty had been suspended for the last 2 days . needless to say I got to spend time with my kiddos yay!

I played around a home depot parking lot last tuesday which was a bit fun. The drive to work this morning however, was a different story...I dunno how the dumbass front heavy pick up truck drivers speed on the freeway and then slam on their brakes when they see sleet on the bridges...accidents waiting to happen.

My wife and I went to Kroger yesterday to get some food. Its only 1 mile from house, but we were sitting at a light and from behide rolls a black Lexus 430 going way to fast with a rear drive car and got sideways trying to stop at the light behide us. I hit the gas and moveed out of the way before he got to us.

One of my employees is coming home from Pakistan today. He texted me from Houston. Has been travelling for 36 hours and his flight is delayed. His wife is at home with their 18 month old. I get to pick him up from the airport in a couple hours. BMW tank for the win

LOL I've been surprisingly busy for working at work. I haven't watched a single movie or played any GT5 during my normal working hours. I did help the pizza delivery man break into his car though; he locked his keys in the ignition.

Me too. I just don't want to risk driving 60 miles round trip in this stuff. I could make it in about 2hrs or so each way, but too many fools out and about.

^ plus if you spend 4 hours driving to and fro, then you have effectively reduced your wages by a third by increasing the amount of time spent by 50% (on an 8 hour day)

Just talked with my boss, he said there's no point in us even trying to drive to the office since we can both work remotely just as well. Fine by me for a relaxing Friday
