How about stop thinking of things on a shop-by-shop basis and rather support the club as a whole? EvoD and Cobb are both great supporters of NTEC and are both always invited to all club events. The shop drama helps nobody, in reality is does nothing more than harm the club.

I posted a NTEC event in a NTEC thread, I would hardly call that biased. It's no different from me mentioning the Newb Modding Day held at EvoD in the dyno day thread.

We are on lunch break at Hallet for the first day of NASA TT. Both josh and jim are running TTA. On the first session it was qualifying, jim had massive tire rubbing issues with the new rims and tires. That put him qualifying third to last of all the Tt groups. Josh ran a lap with 25 gallons of gas in his trunk (famously known as pulling a kevin), then figured it out, took it out, and still qualified 3rd.

For the first open session josh ran great for his second session ever here. Running 1.4 seconds off the lead corvette and the track record for TTA. We adjusted tire pressure a bit and we expect him to push harder as he learns the line.

Jim had to run through traffic his session as well as sorting out all the changes we made. He passed all the cars between him and the lead group of TTA cars so next time out he will be grossed with the fast cars. We adjusted tire pressures a lot, and might have to take a peek at the alignment after having to raise it more then an inch in the rear.

Third session done, josh ran faster as the track got hotter. 1.26.1, and the lead corvette ran a 1.25.7. Josh is very close, one more session today, doubtful anyone will run because it's pretty hot.

Jim ran slighty better with a 1.28.1 but blew an intercooler pipe off halfway through. Got it fixed now and going to play with the suspension on the last session to get it ready for tomorrow.

Same time I ran with the 340 tune we had at the time and 5 year old tires, getting there!

I need to have a long drive to KevinD's shop again soon, I am happy for your continuous success in this business. KevinD did most of the major installs and the only one that did the tuning twice. If its not for EvoDynamics I would have not drove 4 hours coming from Houston.

well all in all it was a good weekend. we got some bugs worked out, found new bugs to work out, and have a good direction to go with both cars.

Josh placed 3rd both days winning a hoosier each day.

Jim placed 5th on saturday and 4th on sunday. jim improved by a wide margin, going from 1:28.1 down to 1:26.5. while josh ran a 1:25.7 saturday and ran a 1:25.6 sunday.

we are going to make adjustments to both cars, and hopefully get some open track time on joshs before nationals.

Also over the weekend, Jeremy Foley and Jon Wagner placed 1/2 at the SCCA solo national tour in SM class in their evodynamics sponsored evo 9! Excellent work to both of them! we have been helping them get the car to where it needs to be before nationals for them as well!

Good job guys! Not trying to stir the pot, but it is nice to see guys using their Evos for what they were built for. Probably one of the worst things about a temp move to Seattle is the lack of track events.

I have been getting to the local tracks here, but they are few and far between. Although it is nice to be able to track the car in the summer and not slowly melt between sessions due to the heat.
