they aren't the same. we have many sets of your pipes, buschurs pipes, AMS, and everyone else under the sun. different lengths (ours are shorter), different angles (we use bigger bends) and most imporantly it doesn't rest on the clutch slave line or hit the 3 port when its in place. aside from it being a short route intercooler pipe, i assure you they arent the same. ours does resemble yours the most though because that routing did clear the intakes the best. were going to be making ours out of aluminum too to save weight. the samples pictures are stainless.

for the the evo X pipe everyones are very close to the same. the only difference between them are 1 or two piece, and if its two piece, the coupling locations are the only difference. the stock routing is already the most direct so its simply a matter of take the stock piece and replicating it out of tube rather then rubber.

Look totally different. At plain sight you can see the 90* angles where ETS dont.

Big Truck: holy crap, why'd I move before this happened?

Pipes: Kevin, make sure you test fit the lower pipes on an MR with the SSP transmission pan.

Kevin, the pipes look really good. Can't wait to check out the finished product in person.

To ETS Michael, I do agree that they look similar, but I can assure you that your pipes were not simply copied. Kevin took the time to route the pipes how he wanted and how he thought would be most efficient. The fact they look similar is a testament to both of you having the same goal. It shouldn't be seen as reverse engineering (nice term for copying ).

And, come on. These are intercooler pipes. You would have to do something pretty ridiculous for them to turn out really different. It is kinda like saying Company A's intercooler end tanks look like Company B's end tanks.

Shameless plug for credibility and proof that I am not shop bias:
I have the short route ETS pipes on my IX and love them. Great product

Back on topic.
I'm really looking forward to utilizing the car hauler rig. That thing looks so awesome!

Hey Kevin, the UICP sure looks good in Black. Are you going to make a mini battery tray to go with that?
