About Us: Evolution Dynamics
evoD does it again. my power steering rack went out and kevin took it apart and took it to mitsubishi to see how much a rebuild was. wayyyyyyy to costly lol. so after a few days of trying to source one i get a text saying he was going to donate the rack of his track car. pick it up today drives great. i dont know of any shop that would make a sacrifice like that even if the car wasnt been used currently.

not just ntec customers but his customers in general ive seen him perform several generous acts such as this. honestly a great down to earth person and excellent workmanship as well. only people i trust touching my car thus far.
Kevin, I am preparing to go to Afghanistan in mid-July. After being out of the scene for a while, I plan to get myself another EVO to have built the right way this time. Please, if you do not mind, keep your eyes open for me. It would be a nice gift if I could make the drive to Texas to pick it up on my mid-tour after the crew works its magic. I have a plan in mind as it relates to the build and we can talk more about this off line if you prefer.
so here are the results from last week on the dyno!
we dynoed rodericks evo first on saturday.
FP red, E85, bolt ons, 30psi spike tapering to 26 because the aeromotive 340 pump couldn't keep up.
made 458/427

second on the dyno was quincy. we are trying to get back the power hes had in the car, so this gave us an idea of where we are at now, and we upgraded the injectors to 1450cc so that we can make 500+ which the car is capable of on E85.
420whp/358ftlb on 93 oct @29psi. it has the revolover 264 cams which i have never liked, so we are going to throw some kelford 280 cams he got ahold on to test the difference.

third on the dyno was a car i have been working on for a customer for two weeks. he brought it to me because it was way down on power from where it should be after being tuned by another local tuner. originally it made 360~whp and 342ftlb. i knew something was up because it was a 2.3L, and every bolt on possible with a bigger turbo with meth injection and AEM ECU. after getting to work on it, we took the methanol injection kit off, put FIC 1650cc injectors on it, patched his UICP, put the stock ecu back on with speed density, and got to work. right away i still knew something was amiss. we quickly realize the wastegate spring on the AMS turbo kit is a 6psi spring, for a max of 22psi. replacing it with two springs for a 20psi wastegate pressure we were able to run the boost we wanted. second, the car still felt slugish. i check the timing and realize the gears are setup for a DSM. they are about 4deg advanced. i moved them back into time and went to work with the speed density tune!

after it made 471whp 482ftlb at30 psi. he still wants 600whp though, so we are going to make some changes (turbo) and get him to his goal!

and it's a vicious rumor spread by his competitors that he wears womens undergarments.
thanks to all the guys at evo dynamics, they built my engine for me and did a great job reinstalling everything. it runs great. i am satisfied with the work, and also satisfied with how i was treated as a customer the last couple times i stopped by. its good to be back in a evo after 2 years.
(ps: i think have an evo addiction, is there a 12 step program for this anywhere?)

Just want to say a thankyou to kevin also. I was having an annoying popping noise coming from the rear of my car, thought it could be suspension but turned out to be a bad bushing. After having a couple different bushings sent in and still we were having trouble finding the right one kevin kindly donated the bushing and arm of his track car so i could get back on the rd and no more popping sound. Thanks kevin
