I have recently learned first hand how much those towers flex under heavy abuse. Ill be going to Kevin for a rear tower bar as well. To add to it, I may also want a brace to reduce front to back movement as well. You may also want to consider it.

Wouldn't that be something? Then you could sell it as a "weld it yourself" roll cage kit on ebay! :-)

Nice! I was just perusing craiglsit and ebay for a tow vehicle/daily driver. If I can find a cheap dodge diesel with manual trans I'm gonna grab it. That's the only thing holding me back at the moment.

modified GT2 porsche put down 520whp 590ftlb

GT3RS, put down 405whp, 290ftlb i think it was:

Thanks to Evo D for all their hard work turning my daily driver into a rallycross monster! Here are some pics. The photographer told me that my car makes for boring pics because it just stays planted and looks too smooth while the other guys are bouncing around getting their wheels in the air. Smoother is faster though!! Apparently I'm dyslexic though after looking at these pics and my number job...haha

Those dyno numbers certainly put things into perspective. And I cannot believe you guys dynoed a Carrera GT. It has to be one of the best sounding exotics right up there with the LFA.

Great results from the weekend events as well!

Sadly, it is a common failure for the insulator on the X plugs to break and either fall into the cylinder or cover the electrode. Luckily, mine just covered the electrode and triggered a misfire code which led me to check the plugs. This set was brand new 11k miles ago too; I changed out my factory plugs at 25k miles.

Happens to just about everyone actually. 11k miles is all you got out of those. We may have to start changing them out every other oil change. What a PITA!!!

Time to switch to coppers and just replace them every oil change.

There are two plug choices for the X:
1. OEM/NGK iridium
2. HKS iridium
