And SCCA events too. Don Herring pays $50 to any Mitsubishi that wins first place in class (at least 2 competitors) while running the Don Herring plate frame.

I am going to pass on the SCCA ones, I cancelled my membership. I don't like spending 8 hours and getting up early for 4-5 runs. I will try to make some ER's. I am going to make all of the NTAXS and BMW runs and PCA as many as I can muster.

 

Don also pays $500 for any Mitsubishi sporting the Don Herring license plate frame that wins the TX Region SCCA season championship. This applies to everyone of the 26 classes that Mitsubishi's compete in. Details are on the Texas Region SCCA Solo website (http://texasscca.org/Solo/SoloMitsub...ntingency.aspx). If you are good enough to win all 9 events at $50 each and the season championship, you'd have a total of $950. This REALLY helps toward paying the autocross bills.

 

Very true. So few Mitsubishi's even show up to these events , I can see the allure, but I don't think the program is working that well, except for a select few.

Been saving and saving and saving, hopefully I can put my car together the way I want it soon and add some more numbers to this nice list EvoD has set here. Hoping for a good Auto Cross season this year.

 

2012 will consist of a lot of changes. As well as lots of testing and tuning.

We are about maxed out on power already. So the goals for next year are.

-Revamp almost the entire suspension
-drop 80-120lbs out of the car
-find a way to get more speed out of 2nd gear
-make more power?
-try to find some aero some how
-buy a 4th and 5th set of wheels
-hit less cones
-drive more consistently
-delve into video and data acquisition seriously
-upgrade diffs?
-burn up lots of hoosiers!
-utterly destroy the competition!!!
-have more fun!

Thinking about a new color scheme too...

 

sounds like a busy year!! 5 sets of wheels!! You should start renting them out with that many

interested to see what you come up with for areo and color scheme.
