photoshoot places

my brother-in-law's here from San Diego & we're gonna do a photoshoot of our cars tomorrow morning...i was wondering if anyone out here have any good suggestions of places to go around arlington, mansfield, cedar hill area...i was thinking of driving up by the cowboys stadium and taking pics with the stadium backdrop, any other suggestions?

maybe something like this...

it'd be nice to take a pic of either the dallas skyline or maybe somewhere in downtown ft worth, but i know it's going to be busy with a lot of cars so that's out of the question. any help would be great. thanks in advance!

cowboy stadium will do. no one did that before i think. Reunion tower dallas but don,t go so near. The bridges over the Trinity River. Deep Ellum is nice too with the wall paintings like this.

top of the building night shots like this.....

saw this one forum...

In the downtown area I'd recommend the AAC, Victory Park, Myerson, Plaza of the Americas, McKinney Ave, Knox-Henderson, SMU. Trying to think of some where the ground level would be appealing and conducive for such.

Outside of downtown: Arboretum, White Rock Lake, Snider Plaza, Highland Park Village, Galleria, Addison Airport, Texas Motor Speedway. Find a spot at DFW where you can park at the end of a take-off runway and get a jet lifting off right behind/over the car.

I took one of our cars last year to a park around from me and was able to park it on the grass w/ nothing but trees and an all natural setting behind it.

Cowboys Stadium is a good place, but it has been done before.

But I wouldn't let this knock the stadium off your list.

Also, +1 for Deep Ellum.

how hard is it to paste the car shot on top of your favorite location shot?
kind of like the television green screen stuff..
with all of the software out these days
that would make for the best of both
like mentioned above, its so hard to get the composition of both just right

we did a night shot a few years ago at Roadhouse Steakhouse north of I-30

oh well, you get the idea!
the building says something like "Texas, Bad to the Bone"

can you come out to the meet tonight?
we could do a photo run 9ish-late tonight

I believe that it was at Stake and Shake or Stardust over there across the street from six flags. I remember that night. I had to take off early... .

I guess you guys went to Salt Grass too. Man I missed out...

I run a couple warehouses, and I've noticed that a lot of pics of cars are in industrial areas. If y'all are interested, we can set up a photo shoot in either of the locations, night or day..

I'd love to take pictures on that single lane road cut out that Kelly took us through on the last NTEC cruise. That was a awesome spot.
