Okay, I have to ask, as I can not be the only one this happens to, does anyone else have people in other cars throw out rude gestures to you or anything?

Example:
Today, in Frisco, I was just driving home, not being a jackarse, just following traffic and I could see 2 guys in a 350z pointing my car out and, I guess, when they decided I could see them clearly, started flipping me off. I was just shocked. I mean, really? If I was being a jerk, I could understand, but we weren't even going the same way!

Has anyone else on here experienced anything like that around the NTX area?

I've had that happen on both ends. There's been a couple times where guys have cut me off or flipped me the bird for no reason other than being douchebags.

On the other end of things, there have been times when I've seen a couple GTRs/Lambos/Ferraris rolling around and I pull up dead even with them to give a thumbs up/wave (basically trying to get their attention to complement them on their car) and they completely ignore me and don't look over. Even after honking at them, they continue to ignore me.

It honestly just depends on the person. Some are nice. Some aren't. I was surprised to see a STi pull up even with me and give me a friendly wave once. Granted, it was a chick driving the car. Nonetheless, she managed to pull up next to me on the highway, give a friendly wave (I waved back of course) and she continued her merry way. It was quite refreshing to see that from an STi driver. However I give her an advantage because she was female. If that had been a guy, I think it would have been a totally different story.

 

Dallas is full of arseholes. Just ignore them.

I absolutely hate it when people do this to me. I just ignore them, it gets annoying after a while. They are used to people doing that shat to get them to race, so they don't bother acknowledging you are even there.

 

one time when my evo was just waxed and clean, I saw a beat up american car trying to pass me. of course I was driving leisurely slow and as soon as he passed me he turned on his windshield washers on a sunny afternoon? it's a good thing the evo was very agile in avoidance manuevers and missed the ww spray on the hood

 

Have had this happen to me on many occasions here in NTX. I find it funny when the minivans pass me and then stomp on their brakes. Rude

 

I had a freakin' Neon SRT-4 mess with me today on I20. Every time I put on my turn signal to change lanes, he would shoot into that spot. I was just trying to get to my exit, dude!

He finally realized beeyotch be crazy and lost that game of chicken.

 

I wish I could of seen that... I would of died...

Been awhile since I heard the term SRT-4

 

It had been a while since I'd seen one, actually. I wonder what happened to all of them.

 

There is one retard of em that migrated to University of Arkansas. He wanted to race me a couple of times when he saw me around town and I got fed up with it about a week ago and now... I saw him yesterday and he waved and gave me a thumbs up this time instead of trying to race me and revving his engine.


OP: Either put them in their place or don't even be bother with them.

 

The only rude thing I've ever got from anyone about my EVO was a SRT-4 boy.... And I mean boy. He looked like he was in HS.

I was at a Gas Station in Plano off of Spring Creek & Coit. I pulled up to pump gas then I hear a loud car pulling up & it was 2 SRT-4 Neons. A guy came out of the loud one SRT & said
and I quote "damn we have some slow cars..... man I hate having slow cars" Then he
said "paying a lot of money for a slow car sucks too"..... the whole time all his HS buddies
were looking at me smiling at me...... lol...... Kiddos these days.... I just laughed & drove away
real slow in my clean EVO.... =)

 

Lol these are some funny stories, I really haven't had any people flip me off thats just rude and uncalled for, but one time I was chillin out cruising around so i pull into a mcdonalds Parking area to quickly call a buddy and ask to hang out, as soon as I park this ******* manager runs out yelling "you can't park here this is mcdonalds customers only parking, move your car or I'll call the police." (engine wasrunnin btw) I just sat there in utter shock at how rude this manager was, (i assumed he was one of thise special needs mcdonalds workers) so i said nothing back, was just 2 stepping as I left the lot xD
