Well it is private property and they can ask you to leave. They also have the right to refuse service though I've never seen that happen.

Except one time - I did get kicked out of a book store, banned me, and they told me to never come back. Long story short - I tried to buy too many books and they thought I was buying them to sell which is not the case. I was just looking to stock my technical reference library.

Anyway -- hate on the roads.. ya know, people treat me good in the evo. I've actually had more hate while driving other cars. Middle finger, mouthed obscenities, etc.

I generally ignore it and just laugh at them as if they are crazy people not worthy of my attention. Except the one time someone cut in front of me and slammed on the brakes because he didn't like the way I merged in to traffic. Yeah, we had a big time yelling and cussing match over that one while doing 45 through McKinney.

 

yeah i was just too pissed to make a big deal out of it so i just left, im not a cocky guy, i just turn situations like that into a big joke, specially if someone flipped me off for nothing

 

It's weird how it happens. I actually had a very nice conversation today with a guy that owns a modded out WRX. We respectfully disagreed on a few things (how in the hell can you call the X ugly???), but all in all it was fun. He said I was the nicest Evo owner he's ever met, and he gets hate on the roads from Civics/DSMs/Evos all the time. Why can't we all just be friends?

 

Some of us can. A couple years ago had an STi pull up next to me and I gave him the thumbs up. he rolled down his window looking surprized, said "nice car" and told me he wished he had one. I told him to enjoy what he's got because they're both completely badass. ****, my 02 WRX is badass and runs like a champ after being beaten mercilessly every day for 100K miles over 10 years (had to rebuild the transmission and center diff *cough cough*) half of that time putting around 300 hp to the wheels. Love that car but when I'm done with the Evo IX it's gonna be a gawdamn rocket ship.

 

I like the friendly rivalry between Evo's and Sti's. I always try to wave...but at the same time, I want to be faster than them at any event.

Now a WS6 Transam though.....j/k
