2.2L+FP Green+e85=awesome
First I just want to say thanks again to Richard and everyone at Evolution Dynamics for all their hard work. I've said it 100 times now but I couldn't be happier with the car. It's exactly what I wanted and I can't wait to get out to every event I can.
When I started this build I wasn't sure how the this combo was going to work out. As far as I know no one else is running this setup, at least not locally.
When Richard and I first started planning the build I knew I wanted to take advantage of going to a 2.2L since I had to sleeve the block anyway. Having the extra displacement it seemed like a waste not to go with a bigger turbo. The FP Green was the logical choice even though I had read other reviews saying that it was not great for autox due to the little bit of lag it had. Partnered with the 2.2L Richard and I thought it would help spool the Green faster and we could get pretty close to stock spool. I think we got pretty damn close.
Two days after the car was completed we headed out to Mineral wells to a ER event to see if the plan had worked all the hard work had paid off. All I can say is I was very very impressed. The car is very fast, has no lag, and it pulls forever. Perfect for a autox car. Everyone who got a ride that day had smiles on their faces.
Here are the dyno sheets from both Kan's and Cobb. I tried to run the car on both dynos as close together as I could. There have been a few other NTEC members that have run both of these dynos somewhat close, so this helps confirms how close they are. As you can see there is not a whole lot of difference between the two local Mustangs. The norm seems to be around 20hp give or take a few hp due to weather and other factors.
Either way the car is beastly and I want to have babies with it.
Kan's - 436whp 431tq - 6/6/12 - Rainy day, maybe low 80's that afternoon I think
Cobb - 452whp 438tq - 6/14/12 - 108 degrees in dyno room
Kan's dyno - This graph was the first pull but final numbers are listed above.

Cobb's dyno - This is the new setup vs my old setup.

Awesome numbers Justin. Thanks for coming by to dyno today. I'm so glad that you proved, ( again ) what I proved a year ago.. The dynos are very similar in thier readings.
I'm so excited for you, that yours is up and running again. Evo's are just damn fun cars. Welcome to the 400 plus club.
.
Everyone at Cobb was impressed with your numbers as well.
Hopefully now you can attend some meets.
p.s. Wash that beast
