New Battery

Well after 3 hot *** summers my battery is starting to act up. I assume its the battery. It hesitates to start a little bit. Anyone have a good recommendation for a new battery.

What do you have? I have a optima in trunk, no issue with start.

This is why you shouldn't keep cars more than 2 years

You could do the AMS lightweight battery kit, or if you want to retain a full size I'd just go to the store and get whatever you can find with a decent price & warranty.

I would replace it with a full size battery since it is a DD and does not have a clutch.

I have a Panasonic battery sitting in my garage. It was good when I replaced it with an optima. You can have it if you want to meet in north Irving tomorrow. PM let me know

Tom, are you outside of warranty coverage? I would think that the battery showing signs of failure would warrant a free replacement (and I believe Mitsu was specifying yellow tops for failed Panasonics).

If not I would certainly look into a good full-size battery for the same reasons Jim notes.
