Black out headlights

I was wondering if there is a place here in the DFW area that does headlight mods. I have an evo X and have searched for a place locally that does good work. I talked to a guy on EvoXforums but the down time wouldnt work as I DD my car plus dont have the money for the exchange program. Can anyone help out? Thanks

I know this isn't local but Lightwerkz.net, heard good reviews mostly. Going to eventually send mine there. Should be about 250 for just paint.

Are you sure you want to black out your headlights? The reason I ask is because mine are smoked slightly but makes a big difference in reduction in visibility at night. I will be looking into removing it soon. Problem with mine is that its painted on and not a film.

I did mine years ago. At first it was awesome, you didn't see many cars like it. My friend painted the headlights and taillights since I have extremely shaky hands. It came out great. After being constantly harassed by the popo I got over the hype real quick. The headlights tint DID dramatically reduce visibility. After a while the tint started pealing and fading and looks like garbage now. When I have the time I will attempt to take it off. The taillights were swapped out for new ones after I got rear ended, and I never thought about tinting them again.

Hey guys thanks for the replies but phyzy and ginglingston11 i think what im looking for is different from what you guys are talking about. Heres some pics of what I will be looking for. From this i wouldnt see the projection of light having a big drop but maybe a little bit due to the light not shining off the silver reflection stuff. The guy on evoxforums actually breaks down the headlamp and uses paint like plastidip and he also can install halos and retrofit other projectors. Seems how i havnt had many hits locally I will probably have the car be down for as long as it takes to ship and get this done.
