Hey folks, I just picked up my evo yesterday after it being overseas for the past 2yrs. While stationed in Korea and waiting for work to be finished, she is finally back on US soil. I have an Evo IX MR with a lot of work done and want to start driving again, however, with Kevin being gone this week for an event I want to get it somewhat mapped so I don't ruin all the work done. It's idling low/stalling, throwing dtc's for multiple misfires in all cylinders. If someone can help me out till I can get over to evo dynamics and get its truly dialed in by Kevin, I would appreciate it. I'll list mods via this or pm if anyone can help me out. Thanks, looking forward to joining up with the NTEC community now that I'm in the state's hopefully to stay!

 

Best bet... wait till Kevin gets back on Monday and don't drive it...Only other place I would trust is Cobb for that car and if Calvin tunes it they will lock it down. Too much liability.

 

I have to agree with Tom, wait until you can have someone who does this for a living look at it, you have too much money invested to risk blowing it up.

 

Agreed with both above. Play it safe and wait until one of the two professional tuners we have in the area is able to get you squared away.

 

Thanks guys, I know I should wait, I just had the itch seeing as I just got it back after 24 months. I'll just do little things in house and get it over to Kevin once he gets back, that way I can enjoy all that I have. Thanks for the input and hopefully will see a few of you out in the future.
