Well things then obviously could have been a lot worse for you glenn. At least nobody got hurt.

Just a side note for any of you guys considering the Forge Unos MBC. DO NOT GET ONE! You will blow up your engine! I saw 30+psi on my boost gauge yesterday because of this POS! I almost $hit myself. Luckily the engine is still breathing after that one. There is a big problem with a bunch of these units needing cleaned and greased in order to function properly. I did so, but I still saw huge spikes this morning. The Hallman is going back in for sure! Just a heads up on this supposed, "best boost conroller on the market." My a$$. I'll never be confident in this thing.

Game,

Yeah we don't sell that forge or any forge items for that reason. I mean i guess some of their BOV's are good but not as good as an APS.

As for boost controllers if you must go manual i suggest Hallman all the way.

But we suggest going EBC as you have a wider range of controlling it and with living in PGH and having hot days, cold days, cool days. you can set your boost to a specific levela nd it will monitor the boost and will not allow it to go above what you set. I use the Greddy E01.

can't beat a JP mbc...

my opinions

a mbc is a mbc... as long as it is a ball/spring type mbc it's pretty much just as effective & efficient as brand x's ball/spring mbc. you would be amazed at what i have seen homemade mbc's on. stay away from the turbo xs leak style mbc as they are garbage.

as far as ebc's are concerned... it's rediculous to spend hundreds for something that you can go to walmart, buy aquarium bleeder valves ($2), install in the parking lot & it performs the same primary function as a ebc.

after owning many dsm's, a gvr4 & an evo... i am sure that i have a couple extra mbc's laying around if anyone needs one. let me know & i'll give it to you cheap.

late

I'd love an ebc for the reasons you stated steve, but I just can't really afford that kind of thing. Since there was a much less expensive alternative, I went with it. What I never should've done was swap out my Hallman at all. I'll take it as a learning experience.
