The build is on a steady pace.

Shortblock should be complete very soon , Dave is wating back order on the crower rods. Machine work is done.

Next up is the cylinder head stage 3.

Then the Buschwacker tranny with longer 1st gear

Then a decision as to how much power I really want to make. What turbo and what not.

here a few pics from two years ago before his car was complete. he has an evo vii style spoiler now, bigger wheels, and some other odds and ends. he doesn't post here anymore though.

 

Looks good.....We had a ralliart one time, we loved it until the evo lol

 

I've also seen about a total of three other Evo VII look a likes (yellow). One looked pretty darn good in my opinion.

I made it out to Shep today so hopefully I'll be back in business within a week or so.

 

his car started life as an oz rally edition. he ended up wrecking into a gaurd rail during a bad rain storm we were having and damaged the front bumper and fender. so he just said f*ck it and got the whole evo vii kit.

then went ape sh*t, built his own turbo kit, had a downpipe custom fabbed and put it all together in his driveway over the course of a weekend.

he had to do a good bit of convincing to get everything to fit right, but it turned out real nice.

 

I got the invite from a friend who has a 3sgte celica about a meet tomorrow with about 25-30 cars. It is gonna start at VIP parking lot in South Park around noon and end up at the waterfront. We should be at the waterfront stacks around 7:00. It would be cool to have some pittsburgh evos present so all who can make it are welcome. I will be leaving greensburg around 11:15 and meeting my friend at 30 and 48 around 11:45 if anyone wants to ride up together.
