I sold part of it - I still have the MAF pipe left (if anyone is looking for one of those)

Yeah i like the stock box as well but i just don't like losing some of that top end power from the open cone - i pick up 2 lbs/min just by swapping. I may experiment some more between the two, cause im just one that doesn't leave anything alone. (seeing how im on my 3rd set of injectors in less than a year )

I hope to make the meet but my luck lately has been low so who knows what will come up between now and then.

I doubt I will make it, once again. Seems every time we get one of these planned, I already have plans to be out of town.

Also, in my opinion what really helps the shifter feel are the shifter busings. Underhood and shifter base. They make it more precise. AMS, Buschur, Works, etc... all sell them. And the best part is they're cheap!

Yea ill look in to that to its deff more of 2nd than 3rd when im power shifting. But like others said i just need more practice and stuff. Ill prob get the bushings tho because there cheap and they look easy to install!

Your 2lbs gain Im guessing is when you're on the corn fuel right?

Count me in for this meet as well

whats corn fuel?

No it doesn't have anything to do with the fuel type - its airflow. Every lb/min is roughly 9-10 hp at the crank, so while 2 lb/min doesn't seem like much it is a difference in top end power.

The stock box I can hold about 20 psi at 7500 (3-bar map) on the cone I can hold 22 psi @7500 - so im moving more air. The stock box is very good but restrictive up top in the rpm range, i feel when i switch to the cone i lose some low end/off boost snappiness but I gain more at the top. I constantly go back and forth - maybe out of boredom? (I don't know?)

Yeah Im sorry I guess what I posted was confusing, I wasn't actually referencing the fuel only hp/flow. Looking back it makes me sound kinda stupid but I guess thats not the first time. I was really wondering if the stock airbox only limits you as you hit the higher flow/hp range, but from the sounds of it that is the case... Thanks
