No the cams are not in. Im waiting on the tension tool. Maybe today it might be here, Im thinking next week. that way i can send in my ecu for a reflash also. I got the crower stage 2 cams. Im excited to try something other then hks. and I didn't go stage 3 because i really need low end power to stay, for auto-x.

It was nice to actually see an Evo other than my own , although after seeing what people have done with their cars, I've got the urge to modify even worse than before...

Unfortunately, the wife says I've got to wait until we've got some extra disposable income (most of what we had went towards the Evo, and I know we've got some projects to do around the house as well).

<sigh>

More than likely, nothing will be done until next Spring. Plan right now is to keep it stock for a couple of months and get used to the way the car is from the factory. I'll then garage it over the winter (since I don't need it to drive on a daily basis, I'd rather not have to deal with the road salt/sand, buying snow tires, etc. if I don't have to), and then start looking at some basic modifications when it comes out again next year.

Wait will be a killer, but at least it gives me time to really research and decide on what I want to do and where I want to take the car so that I'm not just throwing parts on it at random.

 

Hey guys, had a nice time today. It was nice meeting some new faces. I would recomend gnv for any parts you guys need. And really we should all try to support a local shop even with having to pay sales tax. Im up for a another meet soon myself, especially after monday . Im going to have some new bling for the ride. "is that term still hip" or is it "ice" now

Sorry I had to bail early yesterday, I'm headin to Cali in a week and I have a ton of stuff to do. It was cool meeting all of you and now you all know my secret........ I'm not really THE Tom Selleck, but we can all agree that he is pretty awesome.
