I dont see your reasoning? is his valvetrain going to go bad in 2 months? I would say no....and if he decides to get bigger cams then he still has to get back in there, so worry about it then? or if he builds a whole motor it will have to be pulled anyway and can be done then as well?
Sorry I just dont understand why you need to upgrade those parts when you dont have to or need to unless your stock parts are bad?
I just think installing cams vs. pulling the head and upgrading the valve train is a big difference, because the cams dont require you to pull the head? plus who wants to mess with a good sealed head when they dont need to?

But i still think if you plan on replacing them within a month or 2 anyways you should just get them all in one sitting allow the break in for everything at the same time. But thats me i could be wrong. I know i want to redo my valvetrain system and i wish i did so last year around this time when i installed my cams.
Its all personal preference.
yo jeremy personaly if u are going to keep the stock turbo and ur not intending to buy more agressive cams, then install the cams now dont worry about that its not needed. but if ur going bigger turbo higher revs more aggressive profile , then upgrading is either now or later.
yes im just going to put them in and forget about it. I do not really want a big turbo, I really am only looking for 350-400 whp max out of the car. On another note i put the camber plates in last night. Dam they are sweet . install was pretty dam easy. Now if i can just find another 5 hours. I'll do those cams.
