Jeremy do you think your dad will allow another Dynoflash to take place at his shop? I mean we could make a mini meet out of this. Let us know cause we kinda need a place and it seems that the last tune went VERY well at that location.

I wish i could say yes! We actually ran into alittle problem at the end with the owner of the building. "What an A**" You would think after being in that location for 17 years that it would be okay but. Sorry guys wish i could help.

how far is monroeville for you steve? it's about 20 minutes from me in murrysville, and about 30 minutes from steelcity. But it's so easy to find I think that it's a very good choice. Honestly let's just pick the most central location for all of us. I don't want to have to drive an hour and i'm sure you guys don't want to either.

I think you should keep the MR... way ore fun than any of those options you listed... Only one that comes close is the M3, but thats only good for part of the year not year round... Up to you though big man. Let us all know.

Well if you're already considering getting rid of the car that you just bought, then something is obviously bothering you about the car. Any particular reason why you are considering trading in the MR? If you're unhappy with your car then I would say the best thing to do is just trade it in for something else. If you aren't really sure what you want to do, try a few mods and then get a tune. You'd probably make up your mind after that.

I'd buy the M3 if you can. Only with the smg tranny tho! Now the M5 is even nicer but if you have that kinda money why not buy a porsche.

i guess i should try to explain. in the house now we have a 04 4runner, my wifes old car 03 escape and the MR.

we have only two garage spaces. I hate the escape so that is going to go. I wanted one nice car that I could drive around and then both of the cars could be in the garage. the only thing is that I need a car with a back seat so that I could carry my son if I need to. need space for a child seat.

so my choices are:
05 M3 about 55K
07 audi RS4 not out yet about 80K
07 M5 not out about 90K
new 911 cabrio S about 90K

I think 80 to 90K is just too much for a car

its funny the group that I joined in johnstown is pretty well off. in our parking lot there are an Audi RS6, a couple of bmw 745i, audi A8L, ferrari 360 F1, and a few lexus suv's. the white MR is is too boy racer, I think.

I think the plan will be to sell the escape and get a regular car for work. my wife is in a pretty good mood since my first paycheck as an attending doctor so I think she will be off my back so I can start modding the car. I still love driving the evo.

maybe I will get an M3 the local dealer has a red one but no nav. for winter driving I am pretty sure I will use the evo with winters or all seasons. oh is anyone is interested on the bbs with the advan tires about 4000 miles on it send me a pm.

later guys, have fun at the dynoflash on thursday, i wish i could make it

mike

Mike,

You seem to have a good idea about what you want to do. I say keep the MR. sell the escape and get another car like the M3 like you said... That would be a great choice. But if you would and can do it. The new m5 is the way to go!!!

Let us know when your ready for your mods man.

Completely off topic, but I just got a call a few minutes ago from Biondi Mitsubishi. They asked to speak to me and asked me if I still had my Evo. I said yes and then they started to explain how they want everyone with older evo's to trade them in for 05's. They told me about great interest rates, etc. I just told him I'll keep it in mind. I have no idea why they would want old evo's. I know the resale value is very good at this point, but it still just doesn't make much sense. Or they just want to get rid of all the 05's for the new IX's in september or october. Not much of a difference in 04-05 except acd, 10.5 hotside, slightly higher boost, etc. I can't help to actually consider this though. I would probably personally like to wait for the IX if I do in fact want a new car. Would any of you guys consider something like this? I could be put back to stock in less than a day so i'm not worried about my mods. Or am I insane?
