Hey there all! Al posted a date for a tune here if anyone missed that. Its under a new thread tho. Just thought i'd try and help. Im up for prp on thursday! it should be nice out. I can't wait to run my car. Does anyone know if i need a helmet to race out there?

 

No, you don't need a helmet to race.

Edit: I was wrong, bring one just to be on the safe side.

 

I did miss that, thanks a bunch. Sent my deposit and I'm ready this time. This is my last mod for the summer. I thought someone said that you only need a helmet if you run below 13's. And Jeremy I gaurentee you'll run at least a 12.9 with your mods. I'd like to go up there thursday as long as the weather's nice.

 

not trying to argue but i have raced at prp and i have seen them let people race without a helmet including me doing 13's but u r supposed to wear one , i suggest if u wanna race take a helmet along in case they get picky about it, and another thing is ur supposed to wear long pants no shorts

 

Yeah, I guess I just havent paid enough attention if people were wearing helmets or not. My friend and I raced there too and we didnt need helmets so I just assumed. I guess that is because we werent running under 13.

 

Well im going either way it seems! Im just sick of thinking how fast my car feels. I want to kno numbers! i rather feel i suck at driving then not no. I'll try and get a helmet. I've been wanting to buy one for some time now, seems i should just do it. Its finally time to see what this evo can do. Drag and beaver run!

Well that was fun at prp last night. Although now i wish i would have stayed longer. Im just not happy with not getting second gear on my last runs. Oh well. I do feel like my car had what i expected in perfomance tho. I should be in the 12's, if i can get second gear ever! I think i've looked at my first time slip about 100 times analizing it.

 

What did you end up running jeremy? Anyone else go? I figured it would have been closed cause of the scattered showers around yesterday.

 

yea it was open yesterday. I had some fun. i ran a 13.6. that was my first run ever! usually you get better but, which i did in my launch but then i kept not getting in 2nd for some reason. We had a few people out there. It was steelcity, evodan, the game, and I. Only steelycity raced also. Lets just say there is room for improvement from us all! If we actaully figure this out we could easily win the sport compact street wars i bet! Seems like the fastest cars were the srt4's which i only saw do about a 13.2.
