I got mine from there, too. I am a small guy as well but still got a large. It fits perfect.

you know SJ, i have an extra helmet you can borrow, but i have a mongoloid sized head, so it will most likely be rather loose.

i am so not joking. haha.

i actually got laughed at in a hat store by the clerk one time when i was younger. i came in and asked for a hat in a 7 5/8's size and he just kind of chuckled.

so the helmet is rather large, but it's not *really* there for protecting your head, it's more of a formality for insurance purposes at autocross events.

OK guys Im still batting the whole cams idea around in my head, meanwhile brainstorm the money issue up. I have someone who offered me The HKS 280 for 275 shipped, both of them. Here is what he said:

"Well first of all brian crowers 280's arent the same as HKS. HKS has put alot more development into their stuff unlike brian crower who just copies or throws some cams together. I would let them go for 275 shipped"

Should I take him up on his offer?

IMO HKS is going to be a great cam no matter what...I would probably say an HKS 272 is comparable to a Crower 280 cam. An HKS 280 cam is going to be very aggressive, and if you are going to put those in you are going to want to do springs and retainers as well. I don't think Crower even recommends their 280's without upgrading springs and retainers.

So in short, $275 for a set of HKS 280's in excellent shape is a very good deal but throwing them in your otherwise stock setup is probably not the best of ideas.

Again - IMO.
