I would agree that if they are in good shape that is a pretty good price. The HKS 280's do not require upgrading the valvetrain according to HKS, but they def. are more aggressive than the BC280's....so the valvetrain upgrade is your call, for the price your paying for the cams might as well throw the springs and retainers in and be done.

The car will idle lopey and there will be no denying you have cams with the HKS280's.....It seems they work well on stock turbo cars, do a search for "HKS 280" and start reading

I'm saying Crower says to put springs and retainers in for 280's...if the HKS is more aggressive, I would not feel good about putting HKS in without doing the same.

With all the cam talk, how about the GSC S2's for a larger turbo?

On a side note, I broke down and bought a set of BS RE-O1R's Got a pretty good deal too.

The Dunlop Direzza's are on backorder until May. That's what the Goodyear rep told us today.

Does anyone in Pittsburgh have a road force balancer?

Really? That's good to know. I never even thought about it till I was talkin with a coworker today. I've had such problems with balancing in the past.

Well now that I have read it 15 times trying to figure it out - I see you were questioning the recommendation of using them, not if they can actually be used.

Sorry - miss interpreted that, downfall of communication through reading/writing

Yeah man hope you're having a good time down there. Hopefully by the time you get back the weather will be a little nicer. What kinda motorcycle you looking at? Personally I like the Honda CBRs the best.

I would consider, going with the Buschur Racing Supertech Dual Valvespring , Titanium Retainer set.

This will allow you to upgrade to any cam you could dream of running , and has 10k+ rev potential
