Personally I cant say enough about the Exedy twin disk, it makes some chatter but not over the top, and you most likely will not out grow it for some time. It is very streetable IMO and can be modulated nicely for launching and such. and is re-buildable
Hey guys still have a few things for sale
HKS 272 CAMSHAFTS
GARRETT GT3076R TURBO
FIC 850cc Injectors
I might be parting out a few other parts as well possibly the full turbo kit , fuel injectors, and FMIC.
The Camshafts had made a +28 whp on a before and after with the stock turbo.
The GT30R had gone 11.1's @ 125 mph. It has only seen up to 28psi.
The GT30R turbo is a very good street turbo, hitting 20psi @ 4100 rpm with much more topend pull. It would be a good turbo to build a self built kit

If you plan on launching your EVO with regularity get the Exedy twin disk. Steelcity has one on a stock tans/TCase, launched it a lot and to my knowledge never had issues with either. Based on my research this is the norm with the twin. Less so with the single disks.
If money is an issue then people use ACT products with great success.
What I had initially decided to do was install an ACT and have shep upgrade the tranny/Tcase at the same time. EVODan has this combo and his car shifts beautifully with a lot less gear noise then my stock goodies.
But, I got a stellar deal on an Exedy Twin so I got that instead. I have not installed it yet. I am still heming and hawing about upgrading the tcase/trans at the same time. The total cost is ~$2000 with remove/install at Shepard + 1 week car rental or ~$600 and have Mike do it locally. I plan on keeping this car for A LONG TIME so having the peace of mind may be worth it. But $1700 plus two trips to Ohio extra..... Well I still can't decide.
ACT single is the lowest cost $700 or so for parts
Fidanza single is getting rave reviews for $1000 in parts.
Exedy Twin disks are $1400+ + To bearing($50)
At the same time you'll most likely want to install a stainless clutch line. About $100
8PM.
Looking forward to meeting a lot of new folks this time around.
You're also welcome to meet up here and we can go there together if you like. Just call me and let me know. I'll probably leave here around 7:15.

you know, if you get an SCCA membership (70 bucks or so for a year) they have some good discount deal worked out with alot of rental car companies.
i believe i got 15% off of my hertz rental when i went to myrtle beach. ended up saving me a bit over 100 bucks off the car for the week.
plus then if you plan on attending any scca functions this summer, you usually get a $5 or $10 discount off your registration.
they have discounts on all kinds of other stuff too.
so it pays for itself pretty quickly.

Sorry guys, I know I said i'd be out for the meet but I have crap I gotta get done for work that i've been putting off - big day for me tomorrow as i'm now officially done with training, yay...not to mention its like 5 degrees outside and i'm a wimp. I'll definitely be at the next one - it just better be warmer, haha.
Sorry guys. Something came up last minute and I wasn't able to make it. I'd try to come now, but I wouldn't know where to find ya. I figure you all aren't just sitting in your cars when it's like -10 out and I don't know anybody's face.
I'll try to make it out for the next meet.
