Yes there is a chance if they use high temps for curing but I would say the chances are somewhat low in reality.......they say to use low temps but then it doesn't hold up as well as cured at high temps.

I would say discuss this with a professional who has done wheels and understands powder coating and the possible effects on aluminum wheels - i wouldn't take it to a first timer.

I think I read somewhere that they cure the powder coating at somewhere around 400-500 degrees. If that is the case, I wouldn't think there shouldn't be any problems.

+1 on temps , I am almost positive that it is that range. It shouldnt cause any structural problems at that temp.

But it never hurts to make sure

Actually its @ 350 degrees! its for like 8 or 15 minutes too.. Will not harm the wheels.

I'm the most paranoid person out there. I feel absolutely no harm in powdercoating wheels. The melting point of aluminum is 1220 degrees F. Even if they bake the powder at 700 degrees, which is highly unlikely, it still wouldn't hurt the wheel.

I like Defi gauges. Although I had some minor issues with a few of mine in the past.

I am very pleased with my boost gauge/turbo timer combo.

I also had a stewart warner that I liked.

Incase you guys didn't see this thread: It's a tirerack comparison between the
Re01R and Direzza Z1. Looks like the Direzza Z1 might be on back order in evo
sizes cause they are releasing it already with a better compound.
