Can anyone measure and tell me the width of the steering wheel? I want to replace the HUGE Eclipse one with a MOMO, but I don't know which size I want. I want the same size as the stock Evo.

Thanks!

Thanks man! That was fast LOL

I haven't driven it in weeks...it's been waiting to go in for a teardown. Finally dropped it off today, so we'll know something in a few days.

Ok, so the Evo X is officially faster than I thought. I was driving back from S.H.Village mall on 19N when I see a white GSR with HID's a few cars back. I get into the slow lane, he zig and zags to pull next to me. I complimented his car, we gave it a little punch and he was still there. I thought for sure I would have seen him well into my rearview mirror. So, then we keep heading toward Mt. Lebo (not the best place to be doing pulls) and he gets along side me again. He informs me that there is a meet on the 11th - nice guy. So, we just did one more quick pull from second and into third. AGAIN, right there with me. I think I might have been pulling slightly in the top end, but bottom line is that it was way faster than I thought it could be. I drove the damn thing and it didnt feel nearly as fast as my car - especially considering that my car is modded.

So, either my car is slower than it should be or his car is faster or both. I dunno, but it was still very interesting and a good time. Good meeting the guy that was in the white GSR, looking forward to seeing you on the 11th !

Yeah, I know, but it was right there the whole time. Gap might have increased if we were at a track, but through one gear it was there. Looked pretty good too...white is definitely the color I would get if I got one.

You feel that extra 400 pounds from 0-60... yuo were doing like 40-90 pulls. The car should feel almost the same stock for stock once they are moving....

I am SURE 100% that you would walk a X from a dig.

Haha hey that was me. I actually raced spumoni who has a IX with an extra person in my car he had about 3 - 3.5 car lengths on me going from about 30-110 with the extra person in his car we were pretty even I might have had him by a half a car length from 30-110 (The vid will be posted by the end of the week it just needs to be edited). Since then I just threw a cone on and it made a pretty decent difference over stock. I'll definitely see you guys the 11th I called off work to make sure I could make it.

No I didn't get a tune just disconnected the battery to reset the ECU. Actually i didn't reset the ECU immediately after installed it and noticed a large loss in low end torque , but resetting it made a huge difference and I got all the low end torque back.

Resetting the ecu is pretty common practice - anytime you install new mods you need to reset the ecu to allow the car to have a fresh slate to re-learn.

This is especially true for ones that increase flow....as the car will run better learning from scratch than fighting trying to figure out wtf you just did to it and why everything just changed.
